Peanuts Rocks the Vote

PEANUTS ROCKS THE VOTE

Description

A customized PR and marketing campaign where fans could vote for their favorite Peanuts character for U.S. President at a mock website and register to vote in the real 2016 election at the same time. A partnership with Rock the Vote, the campaign featured dozens of funny celebrity YouTube endorsement PSAs for Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus or Franklin.

Goal

Increase voter registration across the country while keeping the Peanuts brand relevant—even during an election year.

Our Role

  • Secure celebrity participants, including Alec Baldwin, Aisha Tyler, Candace Cameron Bure, George Lopez and Taye Diggs.
  • Write and produce the PSAs.
  • Publicize campaign to traditional media.

Results

  • More than 30,000 people voted in the mock election (which Snoopy won by a landslide!)
  • The celebrity YouTube videos received over 600,000 views.
  • The campaign garnered 177,834,688 media impressions in such outlets as TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly, The Huffington Post, Mashable, CNN and The Hollywood Reporter.

PEANUTS X ARIANA GRANDE TWITTER PARTY

Description

A customized PR and marketing campaign where Charlie Brown Meets the Little Red-Haired Girl (aka Ariana Grande) on Valentine’s Day.

Goal

Increase Peanuts social media presence.

Our Role

  • Find and secure a popular red-headed female celebrity to serve as Peanuts’ “Little Red-Haired Girl” on Valentine’s Day.
  • Confirm Ariana Grande and negotiate her role with her talent reps.
  • Organize Twitter party.
  • Photograph Snoopy with Ariana.
  • Publicize campaign to traditional media.

Results

  • Not only did #SnoopyValentine trend nationally for more than an hour, Peanuts picked up thousands of new Twitter followers while promoting the ABC special, A Charlie Brown Valentine.
laura wright general hospital we care contest

ASPCA x WE CARE X GENERAL HOSPITAL’S LAURA WRIGHT

Description

A custom PR and marketing campaign between the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), We-Care.com, an online shopping portal, and General Hospital star Laura Wright. This unique fundraiser featured an exclusive opportunity for shoppers to donate to the ASPCA when they made a purchase at We-Care.com—which pledged a percentage of each sale to the charity. Laura Wright not only served as the spokesperson for the campaign, she donated a VIP visit to the General Hospital set for a contest running concurrently on We-Care.com.

Goal

Increase sales on We-Care.com while raising awareness and funds for the ASPCA.

Our Role

  • Find and secure a celebrity with a true passion for animals.
  • Confirm Laura Wright and negotiate her role with ABC’s publicity department.
  • Ensure a smooth collaboration between Laura and the two brands.
  • Supervise photo shoot with Laura and her four fur-babies.
  • Boost exposure and sales via traditional media placements.
  • Coordinate General Hospital visit with prize winner.

Results

  • Coverage included placements with Soap Opera Digest, She Knows, and We Love Soaps, among others.
  • Laura also shared the details with her more than 150,000 Twitter followers.
  • Campaign raised thousands of dollars for the ASPCA.
